Anything that automates messages to Congress are rarely effective. Most automated platforms come from sources that congressional staffers do not trust, and they question if the message came from an actual constituent because it could have been forged.
Just because new technology makes contacting Congress as easy as pushing a button or sending a text message does not mean that is how you should be contacting your elected official.
These new methods are impersonal and flood the congressional offices with ineffective communication. Using technology to make reaching Congress easier is a noble goal, but they are making your voice less effective.
